They are very soft and comfortable. I am normally a size medium but went with the large as recommended by the size chart.

Short = Perfect!
The Halo Essential Wideleg Pant in XS Short is perfect for my petite 5'1" frame and the fabric is that wonderful, soft DreamKnit. Sooo comfortable!

Way too long and material is like pajamas. I ordered short because I’m short but these were way, way too long. Also, not flattering. Maybe ok if you’re tall and thin.
